If you love art and graphic design there is an exhibition you must visit at the Landesmuseum in Zurich, very close to the Hauptbahnhof. Bursting with colour and vibrancy this exhibition entitled “Ready to print – Gut Zum Druck” Art and advertising at Wolfensberger, charts the history of the Zurich printing company Wolfensberger and its work over the past 100 years. Covering all aspects of painting, printing and various types of graphic design, it also includes the art of lithography.

The founder Johann Edwin Wolfensberger was a far sighted individual who bought studios and an art gallery as well as a printing shop and the exhibition illustrates his story and the rise of graphic design and its commercial use over the years.

The exhibition runs until the 28th February and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm (Thursday till 7pm)  and admission is CHF 10 (Students etc CHF 8), children up to 16 free of charge. For more information please go to the website.
