Joannie Rochette Art on Ice





– Art On Ice – figure skating at the highest level as well as music from HURT and Loreen the 2012 Eurovision contest winner entertainment, pianist Khatia Buniatishvili and entertainment by Mummenschanz. It’s on now at the Hallenstadion in Oerlikon Zurich. Featuring a fabulous team of ice skating champion including the Sochi Gold medallist duo Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov. International Country Music Festival Zurich

– The International Country Music Festival in Albisguetli in Zurich starts on 1st February and is the only country music festival in the world to last for 38 days! To see the programme and get tickets please read here.


Cyclope in Winterthur

– Cyclope – is playing at Winterthur’s Halle 52 from 28th February until the end of May. This is a new adaptation of Jean Tinguely’s work “Cyclope” and NewInZurich have a contest to win 2 sets of double tickets for the production. Swiss paper cutting

– Scherenschnitte – exhibition outside Zurich, finishing soon. It’s all about the traditional Swiss craft of  ”Scherenschnitt”, making patterns and pictures by cutting paper. It’s at the SwissNationalMuseum, Zeughausstrasse 5, 6430 Schwyz, and it ends on 3rd March, 2014. Cost: Adults CHF 10, children free. For more information please visit the website.
