Zurich is gearing up for Easter and what could be better than a visit to the Salon du Chocolat? Maybe you fancy visiting an art gallery or seeing some photos – or how about the Easter Egg Exhibition at Schloss Greifensee ?  All these and lots more on this weekend in and around Zurich. Salon du Chocolat Zurich

Fire and Light by Yadolah Dodge




– Fire and Light – Photographic exhibition in Zurich from 4th April – 3rd May by photographer Yadolah Dodge. Tuesday – Friday from 11am – 6pm and Saturdays from 11am – 4pm. Vernissage on Friday 4th April from 5pm at St Petershofstatt 12, 8001 Zurich. For more information please see here


Easter Egg Exhibition in Greifensee





– Easter Egg Exhibition at Schloss Greifensee 5th th & 6April – there is a special Easter Egg Exhibition taking place at Schloss Greifensee this weekend in the picturesque village of Grefiensee – admittance is CHF 5 for adults and accompanied children are free. There is also a “village market” taking place in the square too with local crafts and food and drinks too. Saturday 5th from 10am – 6pm and Sunday 6th from 10.30am – 5.30pm. More information here.

– Zurich Marathon – Don’t miss the Zurich Marathon which goes right through the centre of town. Traffic will be diverted to accommodate the race. More info here.


Cyclope in Winterthur


– Cyclope – is playing at Winterthur’s Halle 52 until the end of May. This is a new adaptation of Jean Tinguely’s work “Cyclope” and NewInZurich have another pair of double tickets for the production up for grabs! The draw will take place the first week of May and you can enter now – read here for details.


International Arab Festival Zurich 2014

Photobastei Zurich


– Photobastei – Photobastei’s photo exhibition features new photographic talent from all over Switzerland (why not consider exhibiting your own?) and the exhibition continues until August. See the details here.

Herr Jud Honold's Chocolate





– Honold Chocolate Easter Workshop – there is a Honold Chocolate Easter Workshop on Tuesday 8th April at 7pm – 9.15pm. The workshop is already booking up fast but there are a few places left. It includes a tour of the Honold chocolate Atelier in Kusnacht, making a chocolate bunny and decorating an Easter egg (both of which you take home) and  a “chocolate tasting” too.
