ICS School in ZumikonICS International Festival in Zumikon – on Saturday 17th May! Fun for all the family with the focus on international food from all over the globe. Entrance free and lots of fun activities as well as great food. From 11am – 4pm on the playing fields at ICS School in Strubenacher 3, 8126 Zumikon.





Chantal Panozzo Swiss Life- 30 Things I Wish I'd KnownChantal Panozzo Swiss Life: 30 Things I wish I’d Known – American writer Chantal Panozzo is giving a reading at Orell Füssli The Bookstore in Rennweg at 7pm on Friday 23rd from her new book Swiss Life: 30 Things I Wish I’d Known. Diccon Bewes Author

Swiss and International Community Fair in Zumikon – this community fair will take place in Zumikon on Saturday 24th May. British author Diccon Bewes will be present and will be giving a reading from his latest book. There will also be a demonstration of Scherenschnitten and lots more. For more information please see here.




Kreislauf 4 + 5 Zurich 2014Kreislauf 4 & 5 Shopping Event – is taking place in districts 4 and 5 on 23rd, 24th and 25th May and as well as shopping there will be food, drinks, tours, entertainment, special offers and more. For more information see here.




Stilettolauf.ch Stiletto run ZurichThe Stilettolauf – is taking place in Zurich on 24th May from 2pm – 6pm at Bäckeranlage, Hohlstrasse 67 and it’s all in aid of a good cause. Men, women and children are all eligible to take part and it promises to be a fun event. Colette Sol even has a special shoe created especially for the event. Zurich Comedy Club

The Zurich Comedy Club – are currently performing “Penalty” by Stephen Smith” and “A Candle on the Table” by Patricia Clapp at Theater Im Seefeld in Seefeldstrasse 91 on the following dates: 20th – 23rd at 7.30pm and on May 17th and 24th at 5pm. For more information see here.

Cyclope in Winterthur  Cyclope – is on at Winterthur’s Halle 52 until the end of May. This is a new adaptation of Jean Tinguely’s see here  for more information.

A Secret Garden Museum Rietberg

A Secret Garden Exhibition of Indian Paintings – The Museum Rietberg is exhibiting 60 of the most important Indian paintings from a private collection – A Secret Garden – “Ein Geheimer Garten”. TanzFestival Steps – Steps Dance Festival – this festival only takes place in Switzerland every two years and ends on Saturday 17th May. Featuring international dancers this festival is on in a number of locations in addition to Zurich. See here for details and the program.





Timber at the Maag Halle Zurich

Rolando DuartesArt and Painting in and around Zurich – Cuban artist Rolando Duartes has an art exhibition at the Triangel Restaurant in Zumikon during opening hours and it runs until 31st July.
