Photo 15 will be opening in Zurich from 9th – 13th January at the Maag Halle. It’s an annual photo exhibition which also includes seminars from key photographers from all over the world. Coming so close after New Year it’s easy to miss it as you focus on “back to work”, “back to school” and “back to normality” after the holidays – but if you like photography it’s definitely worth making the effort to go along.
It’s an important date in Swiss photographic calendar as it’s the largest exhibition of Swiss photography with over 120 national as well as some international photographers exhibiting their latest works.

The exhibition takes place across five industrial halls in Maag – a space of over 3,500m². All the work on display must have been created, completed or published over the past 12 months, so that it offers a current view of the Swiss photographic scene.
It features new work from up and coming photographers, many of whom are present at the exhibition and ready to answer any questions you have and to talk to you about their work. There is also a FORUM with speakers and discussion groups which you can sign up to visit as well. For details see here.
The exibition is open from 11am till 8pm each day. Entrance costs CHF 22 (free under 18) but you may wish to purchase a 5 day card costing CHF 99 . For more information please go to the Photo15 website.
