Zurich Street Food Festival 29th – 31st May

after the success of the last Street Food Festival at Puls 5, the next one is taking place at the Dolder Ice Rink on 29th – 31st May. If you missed the last one you really must come along this time! Best to take public transport though as parking is extremely limited. For more information see here. 

The Photo International Club Zurich Photo Laundry 30th May

if you love photography why not attend this novel event from 10am to 5pm on 30th May – a Photo Laundry! Any hobby photographer can go on the day and hang their photo on a washing line and exchange it for another photo. Free event! For more information please see here. 

The First Iranian Film Festival in Zurich 28th May – 3rd June

the first ever festival for Iranian films in Zurich is on from 28th May to 3rd June. There are 15 films showing, one short by Swiss-Iranian director Talkhon Hamzavi, an Oscar Nominated film and 14 feature or Docu-Fiction films by four female and ten male directors. For full details of the films, times and locations please see the website.

FamExpo in Winterthur 29th – 31st May

Ladies Shopping Event in Zumikon 29th May 5pm – 10pm

for enthusiasts of Mediaeval jousting tournaments or if you’re looking for something totally different take a look at this website (in German) about the Medieaval event in Hinwil from the 29th – 31st May.Tickets are selling out fast but there is another event in Aarberg from 14th – 16th August and you can get tickets here.

Red Bull Flying Illusion 5th – 7th June

the hugely acclaimed Berlin break dancers “Flying Steps” are set to visit Zurich on 5th-7th June and tickets are expected to sell-out. For more information see here.

Festspiele Zurich: Money Power Love 12th June – 12th July

Money, Power, Love or “Geld, Macht, Liebe” in German is the theme of this yea’s ” Festspiele Zurich”. Focusing on the work of William Shakespeare it covers a range of cultural events – including theatre, opera, music, exhibitions and more. For further details please see the website.

Art Basel 18th – 21st June

Rhy Art Fair Basel 17th – 21st June
