Zurich Meets London 2016 17th – 21st May in London
a series of cultural, science and culinary events taking place in many locations in London celebrating Zurich and its 100 years of Dada. Many Zurich companies and institutions are taking part including the University of Zurich, the ETH, Zurich Tourism, Fabian Spiguel and Miguel of Maison Manesse, Berg und Tal, Tibits, Turicum Gin and Taucherli chocolate to mention just a few. Pink Ribbon 72 hour Charity Running at Sihlcity 18th – 21st May
why not join the 72 hour charity run in Sihlcity to raise money for Pink Ribbon breast cancer charity in Switzerland? The aim of the event is to keep the treadmills on the ground floor of Sihlcity shopping centre running continuously for 72 hours. You can sign up for a run slot (minimum time 15 minutes) at the Info Point at Sihlcity (or by phoning 044 204 99 99 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org). If you run for 30 minutes or more you get a Sihlcity goodie bag. It all takes place from Wednesday, May 18th at 4pm till Saturday, May 21st at 4pm. For more information in German see here.
The Designmesse Zurich 20th – 22nd May
from 20th – 22nd May the Designmesse will be taking place at the Giessereihalle in Puls 5 in Zurich. Showcasing latest designs, interiors and home and office accessories it’s open from 4pm – 8pm on Friday, 10am – 8pm on Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sunday. For more information see here.

CATS The Musical in Basel till 22nd May
the musical CATS is on playing at the Musikal Theater in Basel until 22nd May. Tickets cost from CHF 49.40 and you can buy tickets here.
Zurich Shakespeare Festival 2016
there is a rich cultural calendar of events from workshops, readings, musical and literary events and more for the Zurich Shakespeare Festival 2016. Organised by students from the University of Zurich in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s death there is something for everyone, and of course it’s all in English.
