There’s lots going on in Zurich and don’t forget there’s a 3 day weekend with August 1st on Monday – so have fun and enjoy! Check out some ideas for things to do to celebrate the occasion below and fingers crossed for lots of sunshine!
Lettenfest 30th July 1pm – 11pm
live music, food, drinks and hopefully a sunny afternoon and evening – why not let your hair down and relax beside the river for the Lettenfest from 1pm- 11pm at Oberer Letten, Klosterfahrweg in Zurich. For more information and to see the lineup check the Lettenfest Facebooksite here.
Allianz Openair Zurich – July 14th – August 14th

Theater Spektakel Zurich – 18th August – 4th September
one of the most notable cultural events in Europe is taking place right here in Zurich in a couple weeks. Over 20 performing arts groups will be taking the stage at Landiwiese, and putting on some incredible shows for us to watch. See here for more information.
StreetFood Festival Zurich at Güter Garten Weds – Sun
if you enjoy the Zurich Streetfood Festivals don’t miss the latest one on until 18th September at Güter Garten, Hohlstrasse, 8004 Zürich. Children’s Sommerferienpass 2016

Street Parade – 13th August
get ready for music, dancing, and crazy costumes! The famous Zürich street parade is back again this year and will take place on August 13th. Attracting over 1 million people each year, the Street parade is always a place with a great atmosphere. See here for more information.
Limmatschwimmen – 20th August
the annual Limmatschwimmen is coming up and will take place on the 20th of August. Whether you’d like to compete or just swim for fun, the Limmatschwimmen is a great way to celebrate the end of summer. Tickets go fast once they’re announced! See here for details.

Nespresso Celebrates 25 Years of Recycling
this year Nespresso celebrates 25 years of recycling in Switzerland with a special edition Swiss Army penknife which will be available to purchase as a limited edition on 2nd August. It’s a tie up between Nespresso and Victorinox and each knife is a deep orchid colour and made out of recycled Nespresso coffee capsules.
