What’s On in Zurich Mid July 2016 Onwards
It’s not been the sunniest this past week in Zurich (so maybe the Böögg was right after all?) but they are promising fine weather next week so hopefully we can hit the Badis then. Meanwhile here are a few other things to do in Zurich. Have fun!
Allianz Openair Zurich – July 14th – August 14th
be sure to stop by the China gardens sometime this Summer, and enjoy an exciting program of films will be shown at the Allianz Open Air. See all the trailers and program for the Allianz Openair at Zurichhorn here.

Ironman Switzerland Zurich 24th July
the Ironman race will be taking place on the 24th of July, with participants swimming 3.8 km, biking 30km, and then running through the hills outside Zurich as well as through the city. Why not come out and cheer on the athletes? The closing date for registration is Sunday 17th July. See here for details.
DADA 165 Days of Feast
come and enjoy the last month of Cabaret Voltaire’s ‘165 days of Feast’, while celebrating the birthplace of Dada art. See here for more information.

Precious Time at the Beyer Clock Museum 13th June – 23rd September
a good rainy day activity – how about visiting the wonderful Beyer watch museum in Bahnhofstrasse and seeing their latest exhibition entitled “Precious Time”. Read all about it here.
Kunsthaus Zürich, Francis Picabia art
if the weather’s not ideal, you can always rely on the Kunsthaus. The avant-garde art of painter Francis Picabia will be on display up until the 25th of September. Find out more here.
Limmatschwimmen – 20th August
the annual Limmatschwimmen is coming up next month, and will take place on the 20th of August. Whether you’d like to compete or just swim for fun, the Limmatschwimmen is a great way to celebrate the end of summer. See here for details.

due to adverse weather conditions the Seeüberquerung date has now been rescheduled for 24th August. Find out more details here.
The Pavillon des Reflections
entrance to the floating wooden structure on the lake near Bellevue costs CHF 6 and offers swimming a cinema and a cafe too. Find out what it’s all about here.
Red Bull Flugtag Zürich
for the first time in 5 years, Red Bull Flugtag will be occurring once again! At this event, you will witness amateur pilots racing their manmade aircrafts against one another, in a contest to see who can stay in the air the longest. Red Bull Flugtag Website.
