Fabric Frontline Opens New Store at
The Swiss luxury silk scarf company Fashion Frontline have just been celebrating the opening of their new store on the airside part of Zurich Airport. This Zurich company was founded in 1980 and all the scarves are handmade in Switzerland.
The new store is the company’s third stand alone store but represents its first step into the international travel retail segment.
Fabric Frontline is known for its colourful designs of flora and fauna, however, they also have a new range of modern designs too. Indeed, as well as producing for their own brand they also produce bespoke silk fabrics for Chanel, Dior and Vivienne Westwood’s couture collections.
Since 2012 the company has been part of the Trudel Fashion Group, the only remaining Swiss silk house still in business in Switzerland. They work with raw silk all the way through to the finished product and the scarves are hand-rolled in Appenzell. They are the number one source of “finished” (designed, crafted, produced) prime quality silk to all mid and high end fashion brands around the globe.
Their expertise lies in sourcing the best raw silk, threading it, ensuring the utmost quality, designing exclusive patterns, producing, as well as making bespoke silk for fashion houses.
As well as creating scarves, they also make men’s silk ties too.
The new store at the airport has high ceilings to fully display the “foulards”, so that you can see the entire designs and there is a large presentation table so that you can spread the scarves out.
In addition to the shop at Zurich Airport, you can find Fashion Frontline at:
