Heiliger Bim Bam Market at the Maag Halle

in addition to the Christmas Markets in Zurich there is also Heiliger Bim Bam Christmas market which consists of independent companies, young designers and lots more. It opened on 15th December. Full details here.

Pop Up Berlin ends 17th December

the “Berlin pop up” is only here until 17th December. It’s at Schoffelgasse 2/4, Rüdenplatz, 8001 Zürich and in this last week is featuring a Club offering a variety of art, music and other creative events. Find out more here.

Port and Stilton Degustation at the British Cheese Centre 17th December

there is a port and stilton tasting at the British Cheese Centre in the Viaduct on 17th December. As before, NewInZurich readers can get a free hot toddy just by mentioning NewInZurich to Mike. More information here.

Lichterschwimmen Zurich 22nd December

the tiny lights that float on the river Limmat will set sail at 6pm on Thursday 22nd December – so mark your diaries and pop over for a Glühwein by the Hotel Storchen to watch them float by. FREE event for everyone!

Sign up to Zurich Marathon by 31st December to save CHF40

Just Opened – New Restaurant – Raclette Factory 

a new raclette restaurant opened on 15th December in the Niederdorf. Called the Racelette Factory it is located at Rindermarkt and it offers take away raclette. More information here.

Art On Ice Ice Skating 2nd – 5th February

Couleurs Désert at the Bellerive Museum – LAST Exhibition!

the beautiful Bellerive Museum in Zurich is sadly closing in 2017 and the last exhibition is one about the Berber carpets made in Morocco by the talented craftswomen who live there. The exhibition is on now and ends on 29th January. Open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 5pm. More information here.
