What’s On In Zurich Late March 2017
After a week of beautiful Springlike sunshine, rain is forecast for the coming weekend (so do check out suggestions for rainy days below). Enjoy the week ahead and here are some suggestions on things to see and do.
Swiss Photo Awards 17th March – 16th April
the winners of the Swiss Photo Awards were announced on Thursday but the exhibition continues at Photbastei until the 16th April. So why not pop along to the exhibition at Sihlquai 125, 8005 Zurich to take a look? Entrance CHF 12 (reduced CHF8). For more information please see here.
TEDxYouth@Zurich: Hand in Hand Saturday, 18th March
the theme of the fourth annual TEDxYouth@Zurich is ‘Hand in Hand’ – helping others, collaborative thinking and working together. This year’s speakers range from entrepreneurs to humanitarian workers. This event will be held on Saturday 18th March from 13.00 – 18.00 at the Upper School campus of the Zurich International School (ZIS). Tickets cost CHF20 and can be purchased here.
Mary Poppins in Zurich Ends on 19th March
the Mary Poppins musical is playing in Zurich at Theater 11 until 19th March – but there are still tickets available for the last weekend. For more information and to book tickets see here.
Danny The Champion of The World in English 18th & 19th March
The play “Danny the Champion of the World” by Roald Dahl is being presented (in English) by Simply Theatre Academy in Zurich on 18th and 19th March. Students aged 8-18, and they have been working hard to deliver a great show and some tickets are still available to purchase here.
Geneva Car Show 9th – 19th March
the Geneva Car show continues until 19th March so if you fancy a day trip to check out all the latest models and the newest trends head down to Geneva. Tickets CHF 16, children CHF9. Find out more here.

AWC Workshop Week Starting 20th March

The Blueprint Masquerades Perform Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia 23rd-26th March
don’t miss the Blueprint Masquerades performances of Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia in English in Zurich on Thursday 23rd March at 7.30pm, Friday 24th March at 7.30pm, Sat 25th March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm and Sunday 26th March at 2.00pm.
