Zurich In Bloom
St Jakob Church, Stauffacher
Spring is a great season to behold in Zurich and there are plenty of tree lined streets, parks and public areas where you can admire the city in bloom. One of the loveliest places to see blossom in the city is in the gardens of St Jakob Church (above), right in the centre of Zurich at Stauffacher.

There are also some beautiful parks to visit, such as Belvoir Park, which has a special Iris collection from around mid March up until July.You can read all about the Iris Collection here.

From chocolate bunnies to colourful flowers and countless varieties of blossom, Spring is quite possibly the most colourful season in Zurich.
Chocolate Bunnies in Zurich
Of course, from a country renowned for its chocolate, you may find chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs vying for your attention too. The shops all make a great display as Easter approaches and although you might not find that huge a choice as far as Chocolate Eggs are concerned, they certainly do have a huge number of bunnies in the shop windows all over the city.

Other specialities to look our for at this time of year are these bunny shaped rolls which you can find in bread shops like Honold.

The Cherry Blossom Walk in Frick – Chrisiwäg
Along the side of many Zurich streets you can find cherry blossom trees. However, if you would like to see lots of blossom trees in one place in the countryside, its worth making a trip to Frick, outside Zurich. There you can go on the Cherrypicked Blossom Walk, which is called the Chriesiwäg – you can read all about the Chriesiwäg here.
