Nespresso Creatista
and Easy Steps to Latte Art
The Nespresso Creatista Coffee Machine
Ever wanted to make barista style coffee in the comfort of your own home? With the newly released Nespresso “Creatista” coffee machine, you can do so in a few simple steps. We went along to the Nespresso Boutique in Zurich to get some advice and inspiration from the experts.
The Nespresso Creatista Machine
Gijtipong Thangsubutr and Dominique Niederhauser in action
Swiss Latte Art champion, Gijtipong Thangsubutr along with Nespresso Ambassador Dominique Niederhauser demonstrated the capabilities of the the latest coffee machine which allows you to create what they call the “perfect latte”. With both an easy to use capsule coffee dispenser and a traditional milk frother as standard. Not only is the machine perfect for creating a barista quality coffee to your own style and specification, but with its retro Italian looks it also looks good too!
Italian Styling and Latte Art in your own Home
Perfect for the discerning coffee lover it combines the style and taste of shop grade coffee with the convenience of a home machine. With the professional milk frother you can easily learn to create latte art – though as with most things in life, practice makes perfect!
Simple Steps to Latte Art:
1: Using the Nespresso capsule of your choice make an espresso coffee.
2. Using the milk frother steam the milk in a small metal jug until it is hot and frothy.
3. Gently tap the jug a few times on your work top to get rid of excess air (you may want to decant into another jug if you have heated too much milk).
4. Pour the hot frothy milk around the the cup in a swirling, jiggling motion to mix the milk into the coffee.
5. Pour the milk into a shape of your choice.
As with most things it takes a bit of practice – so why not watch our video of Latte Art Swiss champion, Gijtipong Thangsubutr showing us how to do it here.
