Samichlausschwimmen 3rd December

Christmas Shopping Sundays in Zurich – 2nd one this Sunday 3rd December
normally shops are closed in Zurich on Sundays but before Christmas the shops open on 3 separate Sundays, including this Sunday 3rd December. More information on the special Christmas Shopping Sundays here.

the annual Christmas Market will be taking place at the AWC office in Seefeld on 3rd December. More information here.
BSCC Quiz with Diccon Bewes 4th December

Klausjagen in Küssnacht Tuesday 5th December 8.15pm
the traditional “Klausjagen” celebration takes place in Küssnacht am Rigi on 5th December at 8.15pm. It’s a real experience and the celebration is quite spectacular to view. We went along last year – see our photos here.
the ICS Winter Market is taking place in the Gemeindesaal in Zumikon on 6th December 2017 from 1pm till 6pm. This event is an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts, enjoy refreshments and musical performances by students in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Samichlaus Day 6th December
the 6th December is Samichlaus or St Nicholas Day in Switzerland. There are activities to celebrate this event from 1st – 6th December – find out more here.
Cashmere Sales for a Good Cause 7th, 8th and 9th December
the charity Luxe4Education is presenting its latest collection of elegant and luxurious pieces for men and women – sweaters, cardigans, hoodies, ponchos, scarves and shawls, lots of accessories and more. It’s all for a great cause, helping blind Chinese orphans. The sale will take place at Weid 13 in Zumikon on December 7th, 8th and 9th from 11am until 5pm. Stillpoint Book Launch on December 9th
on 9th December 2017 at 19:00 Stillpoint Zurich will be playing host to the book launch of The Legend of Job by Gerald Squires. There’s are Art exhibition and public lecture and it’s all taking place at Stillpoint Spaces, Klosbachstrasse 99, Zurich on 9th December.
The Swarovski Tree Lights Up the Christkindlimarkt
