MAN’S WORLD ZURICH 9th – 11th March: the 3rd Zurich edition of Man’s World will takes place over an area of 2,500m2 (26,900 sq. ft) at StageOne Oerlikon. A real playground for men where they can discover, and experience lots of key trends in lifestyle, mobility, technology and gastronomy. COFFEE FRIDAY COFFEE FESTIVAL 9th MARCH: if you love coffee don’t miss the 3rd Coffee Friday Festival taking place at Kaufleuten in Zurich on 9th March from 10am – 8pm. More information here.
GO TO THE MOVIES & SUPPORT THE GREENLAMP CHARITY: on Friday 9th March the Charity Green Lamp is holding a movie event to help raise funds for vital work taking place in Ethiopia. The event takes place from 11.15am – 1.40pm and the film is Die Göttliche Ordnung (with English subtitles) about women getting the vote in Switzerland. OPEN DAY AT THE KUNSTHUAS ZURICH 10th MARCH: a look behind the scenes at the Kunsthaus museum on Saturday 10th March, with the opportunity to visit the shell of the Kunsthaus extension, and to tour the Villa Tobler. GOD AND THE PICTURES EXHIBITION 2nd FEBRUARY – 15th APRIL: this exhibition about the Reformation takes place at the National Museum Zurich to mark the 500th anniversary of the Zurich Reformation. It’s all part of the festival ZH-REFORMATION.CH festival looking back at the life and works of Zurich-based reformer Huldrych Zwingli. Find out more here.
THE ZURICH WRITERS WORKSHOP 13th – 15th APRIL: you can sign up for a choice of two workshops, one by New York Times and Wall Street Journal writer Adam H Graham about food & travel writing and the other by Michelle Bailat-Jones on drafting and revising your writing. ALICJA KWADE – LINELAND AT HAUS KONSTRUKTIV till 6th MAY: extensive solo exhibition over 3 floors at Haus Konstruktiv by Polish conceptual artist and sculptor Alicja Kwade whose multimedia works question our supposed reality. For more information see here.

MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL SWISS NATONAL MUSEUM FROM NOW TILL 21st MAY: there is a new exhibition at the Swiss National Museum from 19th January. Offering a real glimpse behind the scenes with lots of memorabilia, costumes, guitars, vintage posters as well as a selection of film clips which you watch in comfy theatre style seats, this really is a fascinating exhibition.
