Impressions of Street Parade Zurich
2018
Culture of Tolerance
If you weren’t able to attend Street Parade 2018 on Saturday 11th August, don’t worry! Photographer Geoff Pegler was there with his cameras to photograph lots of the highlights of the event and capture the amazing atmosphere.
As usual there were lots of crazy costumes and young and old alike partied like there was no tomorrow!
As the Love Mobiles passed by everyone danced in the street in the beautiful Zurich sunshine. Unlike the previous weeks, the weather was a bit more temperate which was ideal for Street Parade.
People wore wigs, crazy body suits and almost nothing… It’s the one day of the year in Zurich when anything goes! Everyone turns a blind eye and the following day on Sunday after the streets have been cleaned and spruced up it’s back to normality.

Photographer Lorenzo Borghi was also there and took the following photos of the event capturing some of the Love Mobiles as they wended their way along Seestrasse and over towards Enge.
And this was the stage at Sechselaeutenplatz where some of the bands were playing.

So if you missed Street Parade 2018 do make sure you attend the 2019 edition! After all it’s the biggest techno party in the whole of Europe.
With thanks to Geoff Pegler and Lorenzo Borghi for the great phtotos
