LIMMAT SWIM SATURDAY 18th AUGUST: just once a year you’re able to swim down the Limmat from the Frauenbadi all the way down to Oberer Letten. This year’s Limmatschwimmen takes place on Saturday 18th August. If you’re lucky enough to have got tickets, have fun. I will just have to watch from the sidelines like many of you! See details here.

KINO AM BERG AT UETLIBERG NOW TILL 17th AUGUST: open air and virtual reality cinema at the top of Zurich’s own mountain! Last night on 17th August.Take a look here.

WINTERTHUR MUSIC FESTIVAL WEEKS 8th – 19th AUGUST: the Winterthur “Musikfestwochen” continue until 19th August in nearby Winterthur. Check out the diverse program here.

RUNDFUNK FM FESTIVAL NOW TILL 31st AUGUST: Taking place in the Courtyard of the Swiss National Museum in Zurich the Rundfunk FM festival provides great Summer sounds in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect place to meet up with friends on Summer evenings. See details here
