ZURICH OPENAIR MUSIC FESTIVAL ZOA19 21st – 24th AUG: Zurich Openair Music Festival has a great line up this year and continues in Kloten, close to the airport until Saturday evening / early Sunday morning. Find out all about it here.

DÖRFLIFAESCHT 23rd – 25th AUGUST: This weekend the Dörflifaescht is taking place in the Niederdorf form Friday evening till Sunday evening. There will be Streetfood, drinks music and a great atmosphere. Why not head on down there? See details here. 

THREE ZURICH LIVE MUSIC EVENTS: Live music, food etc on 23rd & 24th August at Brupbacherplatzfest, and at Röntgenplatzfest, and on 24th only at Hallywylplatzfaescht.

SWITZERLAND BODYPAINTING DAY ZURICH 24th AUG: Artists from all over the world will be using naked bodies of all sizes, ages and gender as canvases as they paint them on Rathausbrücke, Zurich from 2 pm to 6 pm. Afterwards there is a march through the streets of Zurich to Bürkliplatz. Find out more here.

FEDERAL SWISS WRESTLING (SCHWINGEN) FESTIVAL ZUG 23rd – 25th AUGUST: For the ultimate “Swiss” experience how about visiting the Federal Swiss Wrestling Festival in Zug? Not only do you get to see lots of Schwingen taking place, but there will be yodelling, Swiss Alp horn playing, Swiss food and lots more! Find out more here.

ZÜRCHER THEATER SPEKTAKEL 15th AUGUST – 1st SEPT: The annual Zürcher Theater Spektakel takes place at Landiwiese from 15th August to 1stSeptember. Situated directly on the lake there are live performances, stand up comedy and theatre acts, and lots of food and refreshment areas too. Find out all about it here.
