Season Opening Party at the Zurich Opera House
Saturday 14th September 2024
It’s the start of a new season at the Zurich Opera House and how better to celebrate, than to be part of the Season Opening Party? It’s a day that offers a unique opportunity to explore everything the Zurich Opera House has to offer.
A Great Program for the Zurich Opera House Opening Party
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a rich and varied program. You can join a behind-the-scenes tour, watch performances on various stages and participate in activities within the ballet halls, workshops and foyers. If the weather is fine, there will also be a lively series of events outdoors on Sechseläutenplatz.
A 300 Member Choir at Zurich Opera House Open Day
Highlights of the day include a powerful concert by the 300-member opening choir, an exciting costume show, and plenty of performances for children and families, including chamber music concerts. You can also watch public rehearsals of the operas Clara and Lucia di Lammermoor, as well as a rehearsal of Beethoven’s Eroica symphony. For those interested in movement, there’s even a chance to join a ballet class or dance in the Let’s Dance! session.
