What’s On In Zurich Mid October 2024
Wishing you a great week ahead! There’s lots on in Zurich right now and this weekend sees the award ceremony and the closing of the Zurich Film Festival. Art International Art Fair is on at the Kongresshaus on 11th, 12th and 13th October with lots of great art to be seen – don’t miss! Another great event is the Swiss Coffee Festival also on 11th – 13th October. Züri-Wiesn Oktoberfest is in full swing at Zurich main station and from 14th – 20th October the Zurich Wine Festival is taking place at Sihlcity. Plus, did you know that Phantom of the Opera will be back in Switzerland for the first time in 30 years? Why not go and see it in its original English version? Also, MAMMA MIA begins in Zurich at Theater 11 ( in the original English Language version on 16th October!
There is also a new immersive art experience called Pixel Zoo Jungle on now in Wollishofen. And from14th -20th October the Zurich Wine Festival is on. If the weather is good why not visit a waterside restaurant, or a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, or how about a drink in one of these great Rooftop Bars. ZURICH FILM FESTIVAL UNTIL 13th OCTOBER: There are still some great films to be seen at Zurich Film Festival and keep the award ceremony takes place on Saturday evening at the Open House. Read all about the 2024 Zurich Film festival here.
BLICK DURCH AT OBERE MÜHLE ART GALLERY DÜBENDORF ENDS 13TH OCTOBER: Three artists, Kathrin Blaser, Lorenzo Borghi and Enrico Martinoia created the art project “Look through” with drawings, sculpture and pictures. Vernissage on 5th October from 3PM to 9PM. Read all about the event here.
