What’s On In Zurich Early to Mid January 2025
It’s cold in Zurich right now, so do wrap up well! If you’re looking for a warming hot chocolate check out our guide here! This weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th, the JOSY Swiss Wedding fair is taking place at the Messe and there is an open day at the newly opened Confiserie Honold in Erlenbach on Saturday 11th January, where all are welcome. The Breitling Pop Up exhibition in Rennweg is definitely worth a visit and is Over in Lucerne the LILU Light festival is on from 9th – 19th January and on 13th January you have the second opportunity to view the Silvesterchläuse in Appenzell. On 19th January there will be a Beatles Musical at the Kongresshaus at 2.30pm and at 7pm – don’t miss! From 19th – 26th January the Belle Époque Festival is on in Kandersteg and from 24th – 26th January the Chateau d’Oex hot air balloon festival is back. In St Moritz there’s more fun from 25th January – 2nd February 2025 with the Snow Polo and the Gourmet Food Festival from 27th January to 1st February, followed by the White Turf Races on 2nd, 9th and 16th February.

LILU LIGHT FESTIVAL LUCERNE 9th – 19th JANUARY: Enjoy the beautiful LILU Light Festival in Lucerne. Much of it is free to view and it is a fun and colourful outdoor event for all the family. Read all about it here.

JOSY – SWISS WEDDING FAIR IN ZURICH 11th & 12th JANUARY: The Swiss Wedding World is now called JOSY and is taking place at Messe Zürich in Oerlikon on 11th & 12th January. This fourth edition brings together numerous service providers in Halls 3 & 4.
