What’s On In Zurich Mid April 2025

Wishing you a great week ahead! It’s been a great couple of weeks for blossom in Zurich  – check these top blossom spots here – and now the beautiful roses will be gracing four of Zurich’s fountains in the old town from 12th – 21st April. Easter weekend is from 18th – 21st April followed the weekend after by Sechselaeuten and the Burning of the Böögg from 25th – 28th April. The Zurich Marathon is taking place on Sunday 13th. It’s a great spectator event so do go along and cheer! I visited the beautiful Morges Tulip Festival last week and it continues now until 11th May. If you’re in the area make sure to visit the stunning gardens at Chateau de Vullierens in Morges which open on 12th April or why not visit the latest art collection “Treasures of Le Petit Palace Geneva” at the Fondation Hermitage in Lausanne? Over in Frick the Chriesiwäg Cherry Blossom Trail should be coming into bloom.

And if you’re looking for a very central place for dermatology check out Skinmed. With locations in both Zurich and Lenzburg they cover all dermatology needs from medical conditions to aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery.

The Breitling Pop Up museum (book your complimentary ticket here) is on till mid May and another FREE pop up is the Arche2.0 exhibition at the Wasserkirche which features a ship inside the Wasserkirche as well as FREE lunchtime concerts on selected Fridays.

ROSE FOUNTAINS BACK IN ZURICH FROM 12th – 21st APRIL: Don’t miss the rose fountains in Zurich this year. They will be in place in four locations in the city from 12th – 21st April – the run up to Easter and over Easter. You can see all the details here.

UETLIBERGBAN CLOSURE MAY TO DECEMBER 2025: The Uetlibergbahn line between Triemli and Uetliberg will be closed for track renovations with work starting mid-February. There will be a full closure from 19th May to 5th October, 2025. Replacement buses will run during this time, with longer travel times expected. Read all about it here
