This year, the fair moves into a new venue in Hall 4.U, right on Messeplatz—a mere two-minute walk from the bustle of Art Basel itself. The location may be new, but VOLTA’s ethos remains as strong as ever: to showcase thought-provoking, high-quality work from both emerging and established artists.
You will have the opportunity to explore over 70 galleries from 29 countries, including Switzerland, France, Germany, South Africa, the United States, and beyond. The fair is known for its focused solo presentations, giving you a chance to dive deep into an artist’s world and gain insight into their creative voice.
New this year is a Middle East North Africa Pavilion, offering a curated look at a region often underrepresented in European art fairs. There’s also a special spotlight on Swiss galleries, bringing a homegrown flavour to this international event.
