What’s On in Zurich Mid to Late October 2025
The Zurich Wine Festival is on all week until Sunday evening 19th October at the Papiersaal in Sihlcity Zurich and there is lots going on with masterclasses and over 450 wines to try. From Friday 17th October at 10am tickets go on sale for the Honold Schoggi-Tram – so make sure to secure your place before they all sell out. On Sunday Züri Wiesn Oktoberfest comes to an end but you can still enjoy all the Oktoberfest fun at Bauschänzi. It’s also the final week of Olma Agricultural Festival in St Gallen so do make a trip if you’re a fan of animals and Swiss traditions. And if you fancy a show enter our contest to win one of 2 pairs of tickets to be won for the 7:30pm performance of Kinky Boots on 13th November. The (ticketed) Jucker Farm Pumpkin Exhibition in Seegräben is on now as well as the free one in Bächlihof.

ART SALON ZÜRICH 23RD TO 26TH OCTOBER 2025: A new art fair comes to Zurich, with 40 galleries presenting works by over 200 artists from 10 nations. The vision of initiator Fabian Walter is to make Zurich even more attractive for the art scene and to create a platform for younger, established galleries and artists who may not typically exhibit at Art Basel. GAULTMILLAU KOCH DES JAHRES 2026: The GaultMillau Koch des Jahres or Chef of the Year award was presented to Jérémy Desbraux of Maison Wenger in Jura on Monday 6th October along with a host of awards for other chefs and people working in Swiss gastronomy.
