Kinky Boots The Musical at Theater 11 Zurich
11th – 23rd November 2025 in English
The award-winning show, Kinky Boots – The Musical, is set to make its Swiss debut at Theater 11 in Zurich in English this November. Known for its engaging storyline, uplifting themes as well as music by none other than pop icon Cyndi Lauper, the production has already enjoyed considerable success on Broadway and the West End.
Based on true events, the story follows Charlie Price, who unexpectedly inherits his father’s struggling shoe factory. A chance encounter with the charismatic drag performer Lola leads to an unusual partnership – and a unique idea that just might save the business: producing high heels for performers.
More than just a show, Kinky Boots – The Musical, explores themes of identity, acceptance and friendship. With its mix of humour, warmth and toe-tapping music, it focuses on the importance of individuality and community.
The production has won multiple awards, including six Tony Awards and three Laurence Olivier Awards, and features a Grammy-winning score that brings energy and emotion to the stage. So whether you’re a long-time fan or have not yet seen it, why not enjoy a great musical production ( in English) right here in Zurich?
