If you have ever wanted to explore the world of contemporary dance without the pressure of a formal class, the Opernhaus Zürich has the perfect opportunity for you. This January, Zurich Opera House continues its popular “OPEN SPACE TANZ” series, a weekly workshop designed to bring the joy of movement to everyone.
Dance for Every Body
Open Space Tanz is an open-format workshop that removes the barriers to entry. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned mover, this space is dedicated to experimentation and improvisation. Participants (aged 16 and older) will explore contemporary dance concepts and choreographic methods, often drawing inspiration from the world-class productions of the Ballett Zürich.
What to Expect
Led by experienced practitioners, the sessions provide a creative environment to explore your own physical expression. There is no technical “requiremen” – only the desire to move and join in. The best part? These workshops are entirely free of charge, making high-quality dance education accessible to everyone.
