What’s On In Zurich Mid March 2026 Onwards
Wishing you a great weekend and week ahead! The Giardina garden and outdoor living fair opened this week and continues till Sunday and is definitely worth a visit. There’s a brand new middle eastern restaurant which just opened on 13th March in Zurich called Khouris. Over in Basel the Expat Expo Fair is FREE and takes place on Saturday 14th and is full of advice and information for expats and anyone new to Switzerland. It’s also the last chance for you to ride on the Honold Easter Chocolate Tram in Zurich as it ends on 15th. However, another tram will be starting soon – the children’s Spring Märlitram with the Böögg. It’s Tax Time right now, so check out Martin Beiner’s tax tips here and over in Pilatus the Breathe with Pilatus art installation continues until 26th April. THE SPRING MÄRLITRAM WITH THE BÖÖGG FOR CHILDREN FROM 20th MARCH: There is a new Springtime Märlitram about to hit the streets of Zurich and it’s a ride only for kids aged 4 – 9 years! What’s more the driver is actually the Böögg! It promises to be a Springtime sensation for children and you can see all the details here.
M4MUSIC MUSIC FESTIVAL 20th – 21st MARCH: This pop music festival takes place over 2 days with a wave of new acts and a diverse lineup of up-and-coming artists. A particular highlight is the «Demotape Clinic», a contest offering up-and-coming talents the opportunity to present their music and gain attention from industry professionals. SONNWENDFEIER OENSINGEN 21st MARCH: One of Switzerland’s most spectacular firework events returns to Oensingen on 21st March. There will be food stalls and a stunning one-hour firework display lighting up the night sky. The fireworks begin after dark and are said to be the biggest in Switzerland. Easily accessible by train (just 5 minutes from the station), this much-loved event attracts people from all over Switzerland – so arrive early. Tickets approx. CHF 25.90, free for under 15s.
