GUSTA TICINO GASTRONOMIC WALK THROUGH ZURICH 13th JUNE: Ever two years there is a wonderful gastronomic walk taking place through the heart of Zurich, discovering food and wine delights from the Ticino region. The tours take place at various times throughout the day and it’s a really fun experience. MACHER*INNENMARKT AT THE STREET FOOD FESTIVAL 13TH (& 27TH JUNE): Discover local creativity, sustainable design and unique finds at the Macher*innenmarkt on the Hardturmbrache. Set within Zurich’s popular Street Food Festival, the market brings together independent designers and creatives showcasing accessories, illustrations, upcycled products, vintage treasures and small-batch creations. FEMINIST STRIKE & WOMEN’S DAY EVENTS 14TH JUNE: Zurich will mark the annual Feminist Strike (Frauenstreik) with a programme of events including a strike breakfast at Park Platz, Hässig Yoga in Josefwiese, a self-defence course at the Kasernenareal and other activities throughout the day. The main demonstration starts at 5pm at Ni-Una-Menos Platz. The feminist artists’ collective Hulda Zwingli will also host a participatory art event at the Arboretum. See the website for more info.
THE FORGOTTEN LEGEND OF ZURICH AT KIRCHE ENGE ENDS 14th JUNE: A fabulous immersive light installation is now on at Kirche Enge, combining 360° video mapping and aerial choreography inside one of Zurich’s most striking spaces. Created especially for the city, this unique show brings a mysterious Zurich legend to life as the church walls transform with light, sound and storytelling. AUFWÄRTS: FLIESSEN OZEANE ENDS 14th JUNE: An exhibition at EWZ Unterwerk Selnau exploring water, movement and transformation through immersive contemporary art and installation. “Aufwärts: Fliessen Ozeane” brings together experimental works in one of Zurich’s most atmospheric industrial spaces. THE ZURICH ARCHIPELAGO 6TH JUNE–12TH JULY: This fascinating city-wide art project invites visitors to explore Zurich through a series of installations, exhibitions and cultural interventions spread across multiple locations. ZURICH – ART IN THE PARK XXIV 15TH JUNE – 22ND JULY: The beautiful park of the Baur au Lac once again becomes an open-air gallery for Art in the Park XXIV. Considered one of Zurich’s cultural highlights and an internationally acclaimed prelude to Art Basel, the exhibition brings together established and emerging voices in contemporary art in a unique lakeside setting. This year’s edition shines a spotlight on Norwegian artist Ida Ekblad, whose colourful and expressive works are inspired by movement, spontaneity and poetic energy. Best of all, entry is free. DOLDER WELLENBAD REOPENS FROM 19TH JUNE: One of Zurich’s most beloved outdoor pools is back! Following a major renovation, the historic Dolder Wellenbad reopens on the Adlisberg on 19th June 2026 with a 50-metre pool, children’s pools, water slide, yoga lawn, restaurant, BBQ area and direct access to Dolder Minigolf. ZURICH PRIDE DEMONSTRATION 20TH JUNE: While the Zurich Pride Festival is taking a break in 2026, the annual Pride Demonstration will still take place on Saturday 20th June. Thousands of participants and supporters are expected to join the colourful march through the city in support of LGBTQ+ rights, equality and inclusion. The festival will return in 2027, but this year’s focus is firmly on the demonstration itself. More info here.
