Allianz Tag des Kinos 2026 – Cinema Tickets for Just CHF 7
Sunday 6th September 2026 Across Switzerland
Fancy a trip to the cinema for just CHF 7? On Sunday 6th September 2026, the Allianz Tag des Kinos returns, with hundreds of participating cinemas across Switzerland and Liechtenstein offering tickets for just CHF 7 per person, per film. More than 510 cinema screens are taking part, including cinemas in Zurich and throughout Switzerland, and ticket presales are already open. Popular films and screening times can sell out quickly, so it’s worth booking ahead. Simply visit the official Allianz Tag des Kinos website, search for your town or cinema and follow the link to see the programme and buy your tickets.
NewInZurich Tip: Do check the language carefully before booking. Swiss cinemas frequently show films in the original language, German, French or Italian – and one year we accidentally booked a film with the soundtrack in French rather than German!
How Much Are Tickets?
Tickets cost CHF 7 per person, per film on Sunday 6th September 2026. The normal 3D surcharge is included, although 3D glasses are extra. Some premium cinema experiences, including IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, lounge seating and certain special screenings, may carry an additional charge or be excluded from the CHF 7 offer.
Win a Year of Free Cinema
There is also an Allianz Tag des Kinos competition with a Golden Ticket giving one winner a year of free cinema for themselves and three friends, plus 50 × 2 cinema tickets. Entries close on 14th September 2026.
