Welcome to Zurich! Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or having been living here for years, hopefully you will find out about something “new in Zurich” that’s taking place and that captures your interest.
I’m Christina and together with a virtual team of writers, photographers, helpers and supporters (please see Team “tab” for more information) we aim to provide you with information about what is new and happening in and around Zurich and the key things you need to know if you are new in the city.
We aim to help you get the best out of living in Zurich and tell you all about the fun events and festivals that are running in town. We run talks for newcomers and expats so that you have the information you need to settle in quickly and get to grips with life in Zurich. We also offer a limited number of personalised guided tours of the city throughout the year.

Zurich is a vibrant, exciting city offering an unrivaled range of attractions and activities. Whether you enjoy getting back to nature on the water or in the mountains; soaking up culture in museums and galleries or exploring trendy eateries and shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice here. Why not take a NewInZurich Tour of the city?
When not running the blog and writing articles, Christina runs Chocolate Tours of Zurich for a number of Chocolate related Tour Companies. In addition you can also contact Christina direct to go on one her own tours.
So if you fancy taking a Chocolate Tour or a Cheese and Chocolate Tour or indeed a “Zuri West” tour or a “Photo & Highlights of Zurich” and a “Zurich Photo Tour by Night” (both tours are run in conjunction with a professional photographer), please get in contact. The tours are all run in small groups and cost CHF 80 per person (or CHF 400 for a group of six) and last about 3 hours.
They are great as birthday presents, ideal for visitors – or simply a fun way to get on the insider track in Zurich.
