What's On In Zurich End of September Early October 2019

At NewInZurich we run a variety of Tours to suit different needs and different people. When not running the blog and writing articles, Christina has been running tours of Zurich since 2012. She also runs Chocolate Tours of Zurich for a number of  Tour Companies as well as for readers of this website.

Cost of Tours of Zurich

The tours are all run in small groups and all cost CHF 80 per person with a minimum of 3 people. If you’re booking for a group of six or 7 people it costs CHF 450 for the group, and for 8 – 10 people it costs CHF 550 for the group. Each tour lasts about two and a half to 3 hours.

They are great as birthday presents, ideal for visitors – or simply a fun way to get on the insider track in Zurich.

***Chocolate and Cheese Tour***

For all chocolate and cheese lovers this is an ideal tour! Discover the history of Swiss Chocolate and learn a little about its cheese heritage too. We will visit small artisanal Chocolate and Cheese shops and you will get to sample a variety of different types of chocolate and cheese. We will also point out all the main sight seeing and cultural attractions as we guide you round the quaint streets of the old town.

Please note that there are two versions of this Tour 1) and Chocolate and Cheese and 2) as just Chocolate. Please advise which tour you would prefer.

This tour lasts 3 – 3.5 hours and costs CHF 80 per person for a minimum of 4 people. Private groups can also be arranged please email us for details.

***Sight Seeing Tour***

You’re visiting  Zurich and you want to spend three hours getting to know the city and learning a little about the history of all the grand monuments.  In one morning or afternon you will get to learn all about the cultural highlights of Zurich, a little of its history and we’ll take you to all the “must-see” place in Zurich as well as a few of the “insider tips” that we think you’ll appreciate.  We finish off with a well deserved hot chocolate in a typical Zurich cafe.

This tour lasts 3 – 3.5 hours and costs CHF 80 per person for a minimum of 6 people. Private groups can also be arranged please email us for details.

What's On In Zurich Mid to End of May 2019

***Photo Tour Of Zurich***

This is a tour to interest photographers as well as those who just want to go home with some great photos of themselves in all the key places in Zurich so that you can show your friends what a cool time you had in Zurich.  As well as the main tourist and cultural attractions we take you round some of the quaint streets of the old time off the beaten track. We have a professional photographer taking photos of your group as you tour the city. You will be sent a digital file of a selection of the best photographs after the tour so that you can treasure your memories forever.

This tour lasts 3 – 3.5 hours and costs CHF 80 per person for a minimum of 4 people. Private groups can also be arranged please email us for details.

We also run a Night version of this Photo Tour of Zurich as well for the same price. Please specify which Photo Tour you are interested in when booking!

What's On In Zurich End of March Early April 2019

***Your Tour of Zurich***

If you have some key things you would like to do in Zurich, perhaps for a team-building event or as a “break” from a conference trip and would like us to put together a bespoke tour we would be happy to oblige. Everything can be tailored from the length of time to the “activity” itself.

What's On In Zurich Mid November 2019 Onwards

In addition, specially for people who are “New To Zurich” we run an Orientation Tour of Zurich:

***Orientation Tour***

This tour is aimed at new people who will be living in Zurich or in Switzerland and want to know their way round the city so that they can find the practical things they want – key restaurants and cafes, shops and shopping areas (including where to shop on a Sunday), department stores as well as the main sights and cultural locations and train stations and transport hubs.

This tour lasts 3 – 3.5 hours and costs CHF 65 per person for a minimum of 6 people. Private groups can also be arranged please email us for details.
