5 Star Indian Dining Experience
at Park Hotel Weggis
Imagine a 5 star Indian dining experience with a top chef from the luxury Taj Mahal Restaurant in New Delhi. Now imagine that instead of travelling all the way to India you can simply take a trip to the beautiful Hotel Park Weggis instead?
India Festival 17th September – 9th October
We sampled the Indian Festival at the hotel the other night and loved it. Prepared by Executive Chef Abhijeet Thakre and his team of chefs from the exclusive luxury Taj Palace Hotel in New Dehli, it surpassed our expectations.
Not only did it offer an inspired menu of top quality Indian food but the ambiance was enhanced by the sitar playing in the background and the beautiful Indian dancing. Both the red and the white Indian wines which accompanied the dinner were surprisingly good and paired really well with the food.
The Hotel Park Weggis occupies a sunning spot on Lake Lucerne and is a pleasure to visit in any season – but if you love Indian food don’t miss the opportunity to experience the Festival of India from 17th September – 9th October. There are overnight packages which include a night’s stay at the hotel, a sumptuous breakfast as well as the 5 course Indian dinner costing from CHF 390 per person.
Festival of India Brunch 25th September
Alternatively you might like to book wonderful Indian Brunch which will take place on 25th September from 11.30am – 2pm and this costs CHF 90 per person.

Perspectives of India Talks
In addition you can attend a series of lectures called “Perspectives of India” which accompany six of the India Festival evenings, giving an interesting view into the colorful world of India. The Park Hotel Weggis is roughly an hour and a quarter from Zurich and chef Abhijeet Thakre will be in the Park Weggis’s kitchens until 8th October.
