Alpine Charm in Central Zurich
– Chalet Ruinart at Hotel Widder
If you fancy a touch of Alpine Charm in the centre of Zurich there’s no need to schlep out to the mountains as right in the centre of the city is the Chalet Ruinart. The courtyard of the Hotel Widder in Rennweg has been transformed into a cosy chalet and they’re serving up raclette and other mountain specialities to complete the scene. There’s no snow in Zurich at the moment but for that you just need a little imagination!
It’s a great place to go with friends and family to celebrate the festive season – and what better to accompany your meal than a wonderful glass of Ruinart champagne? Champagne and Raclette – what a great combo!
We loved the atmosphere with the wood, the lanterns, the fur cushions and the fabulous chandeliers – chalet chic all in the centre of town.
You’ll have to be quick though, as the “Chalet Ruinart” is a pop up and runs till the 31st January 2016. It’s open from Tuesday till Fridays from 5pm – 11pm, on Saturday from 2pm – 11pm and on Sunday 20th December from 2pm – 11pm. For more information and to book please visit the website.
