Winter is coming and with the darker season, deeper, richer colours. Campari have just launched their new City Collection and have been collaborating with young Swiss artists. Robert went on behalf of NewInZurich and to find out more at a very cool café in town…

Shortly after enjoying a lovely Zurich November sunset, it was time to hit one of Kreis 4’s most glamorous locations, the Grand Café Lochergut. So far I’ve mainly visited it for coffee or oriental food, but this time it was quite a different occasion. The invitation to an unforgettable evening of Italian aperitifs alongside magical entertainment. The combination of live music, lots of colour and amazing art certainly didn’t disappoint.

The event showcased the limited edition Campari City Collection, whereby Campari have been working with four young Swiss artists Philipp Dornbierer, Lily Albertine, Philipp Thöni and Lukas Frischknecht.

During the evening we all got to see the presented art, but we were also treated to some art in the making. One of the artists was busy at work decorating the Grand Cafe’s large front window with its own unique piece of Campari art. With the art, a live band playing bossa nova, a roulette table, snacks and delicious drinks and drinks, it was the perfect ambiance to try out the deep, red drink of Campari.
