English Books in Zurich at Orell Füssli
If you’re looking for a great Summer read, or a book to immerse yourself in, Orell Füssli in Zurich is definitely the place to go. Whether you speak English or German, Orell Füssli has a great selection of books for people of all ages, and multiple stores throughout the city. Once you step in one of their stores, it’s hard not to spend hours looking through the vast amount of books at hand.
Previously located on Bahnhofstrasse, the English Orell Füssli book shop at the bottom of Rennweg has recently relocated just around the corner to Füsslistrasse 4. This is a great central location, and is extremely convenient if you are spending the day in town. Although at first it seems like a German-only bookstore, the shop has four floors, and the top floor consists entirely of English language books.
Whether you’re looking for a thriller, a fantasy novel, or even a travel book, Orell Füssli is bound to have something to offer. If you’re unsure of what you’re looking for, the staff at are very friendly, and able to give you excellent recommendations.
Along with the hundreds of books available, you can also buy board games, DVDs, notebooks, and even American candy. The stores located on Füsslistrasse and Stadelhoferstrasse even have an adjoining Starbucks attached, so that you can read your book while enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
