Globi Hiking Trail in Lenzerheide For Kids
There’s a new hiking trail in the Lenzerheide region of Graubünden which has recently opened. Aimed at kids, it is named after the Swiss children’s hero, Globi. It comes as the popular character celebrates his 20th birthday, and takes the course of a circular route in the Tgantieni area of Lenzerheide.
Globi explains exciting facts about nature and technology at 13 stations along the route. In addition to getting children interested in hiking, Globi also explains for example, how solar energy is used, what a miner does, and for how long waste and refuse pollute the environment.
You start the trail at Talstation Val Sporz where you take a chairlift to the middle station, Tgantieni.
Children can even play on a propeller made of wood, fly on a carousel, watch animals using binoculars, or ride on the “water cycle” at the water playground. They are bound to find the experience both fun and at the same time they are learning lots of interesting facts.
