St Moritz Snow Polo On the Lake
24th, 25th and 26th January 2020
One of the most famous events which takes place in Switzerland each Winter is the St Moritz Snow Polo on the Lake. St Moritz has been hosting this world famous snow polo tournament since 1985. In fact the town claims that the very first snow polo tournament took place here and now the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is the only top polo tournament played on snow.
Set on a frozen lake amongst the beautiful mountain peaks the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is a truly beautiful location. In addition to the snow polo there are gourmet food restaurants set up on the frozen lake and lots of events around the polo. Of course, for after the event, there is a great selection of first-class hotels to retire to when all the excitement has finished for the day.
Admission to the St. Moritz Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is free, including access to all the stands. Last year there were more than 12,000 spectators over the three days of the tournament.
