Nespresso Caffè Alla Salentina Iced Coffee & Almond Milk
This is a refreshing Italian coffee which is ideal for Summer. We have been testing out the Nespresso Iced Coffee Kit and using both the Limited Edition Caffè Shakerato and the Caffè Alla Salentino to make iced coffee drinks. Both drinks are ideal for hot Summer days – when you want something cooling but you still need your coffee fix 🙂 !
Caffè Alla Salentina
1 Nespresso Caffè Alla Salentina (or alternatively your favourite ristretto) – 25ml portion
2 large ice cubes
5ml cane sugar
30ml Almond Milk (or normal milk if you prefer)
- Place the ice cubes into a glass or lungo cup
- Pour the almond milk on top.
- Add the cane sugar syrup and then pour the ristretto coffee on top.
It’s as simple as that and perfect for a hot sunny day – enjoy!
Unfortunately the Caffè Alla Salentina Iced Coffee in our picture was in the sun a little too long as we were photographing and “lost its layers” in the process! However, usually you should get an attractive layering effect on the coffee as soon as you serve it.
