Find Restaurants via Photos of Food
We’re always on the look out for something “New in Zurich”, and the other day we came across the new restaurant app called Presto. Presto is an app that works on your phone and guides you to restaurants via photos of the dishes they serve.
Search on Food Type or Cuisine
Launched a few months ago, it is packed with suggestions for dishes of all types and all cuisines. Whether you’re looking for a curry, a hamburger or a cheese fondue – these can all be simply and easily found via the Presto App.
Download the App
The first thing you need to do is download the App from the Apple store (at the moment it is only available as an iOS App but stay tuned as this may change in the future). Then you can choose from the menu on a variety of criteria. For example, you can choose to select by the type of cuisine, e.g. Italian or Swiss, or via a dish e.g., by searching on “burger”. It will immediately give you a selection of dishes to choose from, informing you at the same time how far away the restaurants are from your current location.
Restaurant Opening Hours, Address & Contact Details
When you click on a photo you are interested in it gives you details of the restaurant and a full description of the dish. Also included are the opening hours, the address, payment types accepted and the phone number so you can call directly to make a booking.
