Razzia’s Secret Garden: An Oasis in Zurich
The Secret Garden at Razzia in Seefeld
We are always on the look out for cool spots to dine in Zurich and we have just discovered a new one! It’s in Seefeld and is part of Razzia restaurant. Following the recent refurbishment at Razzia, the new look Secret Garden was created. A lush, green garden full of plants and shrubs in a courtyard and passageway with cool shady areas under umbrellas and foliage, it’s just so fresh and pretty. It is located right next to the restaurant in the adjacent outdoor area. With its own separate entrance and views into the kitchen, it’s a fabulous place to spend an afternoon or evening.
Sharing Plates by Chef Ekundayo Oduwaiye
We went for lunch and enjoyed a number of delicious sharing plates prepared by chef Ekundayo Oduwaiye who creates contemporary dishes with an exotic twist.
Each one was so different but so tasty. I think my favourite had to be the Thai beef salad – but the mozzarella was a close second. Then again, I loved the beef main course too which we shared – it was just so tender and beautifully cooked.
We accompanied the lunch with a very nice chilled Whispering Angel Rosé wine which perfectly suited the summer ambiance.
We shared the main course as we wanted to leave a little space to try one of the wonderful creations by Patissière des Jahres 2022, Felicia Ludwig. Felicia creates the most beautiful and artful creations which simply taste divine.

They are displayed in a glass showcase as you enter the main restaurant.
I highly recommend you pop in to see these fabulous works of art – they are simply beautiful!
Felicia creates everything from macrons to fabulous cakes and tarts and the dessert I tried which was called a “snickers” and was a delightful concoction of hazelnuts and caramel… magnifique!
However, confection is a delight in its own right …
So if you’re looking for a unique place to in Zurich for lunch or dinner ( I haven’t yet been for dinner but I can imagine it’s amazing with all the little lights illuminating the garden) then why not make a reservation at The Secret Garden?
The Secret garden at Razzia is open Tuesday to Saturday for both lunch and dinner. It really is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon enjoying delicious food and drinks. It stays open until 10pm but guests can continue their experience inside until closing.
