Soi Thai Pop-Up Restaurant Returns to Zurich for Summer 2026

If you’re looking for one of Zurich’s most exciting dining experiences this summer, Soi Thai is back! From 3rd August to 13 September 2026, this much-loved seasonal pop-up is once again transforming Rämistrasse 24, into what it proudly describes as “the longest, narrowest and liveliest restaurant in the city.“
Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Thailand, Soi Thai is far more than just a restaurant – it’s a relaxed dining experience where you can share delicious dishes and enjoy an evening full of authentic flavours and a fun atmosphere.
A Taste of Thailand in the Heart of Zurich

This year’s theme is “Authentic Thai Table“, with the kitchen serving a carefully curated selection of favourite dishes from the past 12 years of Soi Thai. Just as you would experience in Thailand, several dishes are served together for the whole table to share, allowing everyone to sample a variety of flavours from different regions of the country.
The menu changes regularly throughout the pop-up, making it well worth returning more than once during the six-week run.
Vegan Menu Available
Whether you’re a dedicated carnivore or follow a plant-based diet, Soi Thai caters for both. You can choose between the regular sharing menu featuring meat and fish or a fully vegan alternative. The food offers an authentic balance of flavours, with both spicy and milder dishes. While the chefs can occasionally omit fresh chillies, many of the curries, soups and dressings are prepared in advance, so please note that the spice level cannot generally be reduced.

Reservations Recommended
Although walk-in guests are welcome, Soi Thai is one of Zurich’s most popular summer dining experiences and tables book up quickly. If you’re hoping to visit without a reservation, your best chance is to arrive early (around 6.00 pm) or later in the evening (after 8.30 pm). The restaurant also releases additional tables at short notice depending on the weather, so it’s worth checking online if your preferred date initially appears to be fully booked.
As the pop-up only runs for a limited time, do make sure to cancel your reservation if your plans change. Reservations can be amended until 5.00 pm on the day of your booking. After this, a no-show charge of CHF 69 per person applies.

Good to Know Before You Go
The restaurant is accessed via a steep footpath, so comfortable footwear is recommended. The nearest public transport stops are Stadelhofen Station, Bellevue and Kunsthaus, while the Hohe Promenade car park is the closest option for drivers.
Families are very welcome, although there is no separate children’s menu. Children aged 12 and under may share their parents’ dishes free of charge. Dogs are also welcome, although the restaurant advises that the busy, narrow and often warm environment may not be ideal for every four-legged visitor.

Please note that while the kitchen can accommodate many common allergies, it cannot cater for allergies or intolerances relating to soy, onion, garlic, chilli, sesame or severe peanut and seafood allergies.
