Footcare Should Be An All Year Round Activity

Whether it’s the holiday season or not, caring for your feet should be an all year round activity – rather than just a holiday routine. However, it all takes time – and goodness knows how time flies. However, if your feet are not at their prettiest and are all calloused or you’ve got cracked heels – all is not lost. Georgina at Pure Beauty Spa recently introduced me to the Lova Skin Foot Kit and after using it for the past few weeks I am hooked! Even my husband has started using it! 🙂 In fact after using it a couple of times during the first week my feet had improved so much that I now only have to use it about once every two weeks or once a month now.

The Lova Skin Foot Kit comes in its own zip up bag and contains a large foot file with a rough and a smooth side (which actually is one of the most effective foot files I have ever come across and does an excellent job on hard skin) and a small Lova Skin spray bottle.

It’s best to do your feet in the bathroom on a towel to keep everything in one place and so that you can easily wash your feet in the shower or the bath afterwards.

How The Lova Skin Footcare Kit Works

1. Wash your feet and  make sure they are completely dry!
2. Doing one foot at a time, spray your first foot with the lotion. 8 to 10 sprays should be sufficient
3. Leave 60 seconds without touching
4. Now with your fingers rub the foot, paying special attention to areas with hard skin and you will notice how the dead skin just rubs off as if by magic
5. Now use the rough side of the file followed by the fine side to remove any excess sed skin
6. Repeat the process on the second foot
7. Now wash your feet and dry thoroughly
8. Next moisturise with a good moisturiser like the NEOSTRATA Resurface cream (see below)

If you have a lot of hard skin, you may need to repeat the treatment twice a week – but with regular use your feet will be in much better shape. I can honestly say that I have tried nearly every foot treatment on the market and this is one of the best foot discoveries  I have ever made.

The Best Foot Moisturiser – NEOSTRATA

After using the Lova Footcare Kit, to maintain your new “soft as a baby’s bottom” feet it is essential to moisturise them every night before you go to bed with a good moisturiser. If your feet have been particularly neglected, you may wish to moisturise every morning too, until they get better.

Georgina introduced me to NEOSTRATA “Resurface” cream which is ideal for your feet. It was also perfect to use after the Lova Skin Foot Kit. I must admit I was a bit sceptical as I have tried so many foot creams over the years – but I really do like this one.
