“Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote”
The Perfect Travel, Business and Everyday Bag
If like me you travel a lot, one of the key dilemmas for each trip is which bag to take. If you’ve got your laptop in tow, along with cables, phone, travel necessities and all the rest, you need something that’s tough, lightweight and resilient – but which carries a decent amount. I’ve long been searching for the ideal travel bag – and having surveyed the scene for many years, I think I’ve found the one!
Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote
So far, in the six weeks I have had the Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote, I have already taken the bag on 4 overseas trips used it for countless business meetings as well as every day use as a large handbag. So what’s so special about it?
Lightweight, Practical and Stylish
First and foremost it is very well designed and practical and most of all lightweight. That’s important as increasingly airlines are introducing more and more luggage is restrictions. By the time I’ve filled my carry on, I don’t want to have to worry about the weight of the actual bag itself too. The Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote has a sleeve built into it which fits right over the handle of my suitcase enabling me to push both bags effortlessly from street to train to airport.
If you don’t want to use this sleeve for sliding over a suitcase handle, you can zip it up and it turns into an extra pocket.
It’s also very stylish, made of water resistant, wipe clean material – so you know it’s always going to look good and there’s also no drama when someone on the plane spills their drinks accidentally. It has leather shoulder straps, leather trim and V-stitching and on the flat bottom there are 4 little studs so it sits directly on those.
Laptop Compartment and Plenty of Pockets
The lining inside is red (which makes it much easier to find things than with a black lining) and there is a dedicated compartment for your laptop and for your tablet which are ideal not only for protecting your computer and tablet but also for easily taking them out at security etc. There are plenty of pockets for your phone, purse and even one for your Victorinox penknife! Incidentally, I use that one to hold a lipstick – but you get the idea.
In the middle there is plenty of space for your water bottle, a notebook, magazines – or for a bag of toiletries if you’re travelling.
Not Just For Travel
Although I’ve talked it about for travel, the Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote is extremely versatile and excellent for day to day use too. I recently broke my right shoulder in a ski accident and discovered that the bag was ideal for me to carry round as it weighs next to nothing – and is the perfect size for transporting large x rays without damaging them too!
Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote
The dimensions of the bag are 15 x 47 a 31 cm and the capacity is 16 litres. The bag itself weighs just 700 grams and it can accommodate a laptop up to 16″. This is the very latest model of what was previously the Charisma tote by Victoinox.
Available in three colour ways – black, navy and rose gold, the Victorinox 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote costs CHF 200 and can be purchased at your nearest Victorinox shop or online here.
The Victoria 2.0 Deluxe Business Tote works very well in combination with the Victorinox Spectra suitcase.
