SkinCeuticals Custom D.O.S.E is a totally personalised serum based on the the data regarding your skin. In order to find the right serum for you, you can either answer a detailed questionnaire online or by phone or you can book an appointment with one of Dermanence’s skincare professionals at their offices in Bahnhofstrasse. I went along to the Dermanence office and during my visit I was questioned on all aspects of my skin and skincare regime. I was also asked what improvements I would like to see in my skin so that they could match the right combination of ingredients to my personalised formula.
Based on my answers, my very own individual skin serum was produced from over a whopping 85,000 algorithms! Custom D.O.S.E can create up to 48 different serum combinations, so that every individual skin issue can be addressed with your particular Custom D.O.S.E. As your skin’s needs change throughout the year, depending for example, on the season etc, you can adjust your custom formulation whenever you re-order. For example, in Winter your skin probably needs more moisture than in Summer. They also speak English – so you don’t have to worry about speaking or understanding German!! 🙂
After answering the questionnaire, the next step was to create the Custom D.O.S.E serum with SkinCeuticals unique premium ingredients and their very own machine.

The dedicated machine creates the serum before your eyes and within a few minutes my own SkinCeuticals Custom D.O.S.E serum was ready! As a finishing touch my name was printed on the label and packaging. You can’t get more personalised skincare than that!
A Highly Concentrated Intensive Care Serum
The end result is a highly concentrated intensive care serum for my face to be applied after cleansing and before day or night cream. Tip: In the recent hot weather we have been having it is a good idea to keep your SkinCeuticals Custom D.O.S.E. in the fridge and ideally it should be used within 3 months of being opened.
