Testing Out Swissline Age Intelligence Recovery Serum
These days so many creams and serums describe themselves as anti-ageing, but the latest Serum from Swissline is called the “Recovery Serum”. Part of their Cell Shock Age Intelligence range it is targeted at reducing the signs of age on your face. The Recovery Serum can be either used alone or in conjunction with one of the four specially designed “Booster” serums.
The Boosters are designed to augment the results you can see on your skin when they are mixed with the Recovery Serum.
I am a recent convert and now a firm believer in serums so I was really pleased to be invited to try out Swissline’s latest innovation. I have been testing out the Recovery Serum both on its own and in conjunction with one of the boosters. So far I can report that the serum absorbs into the skin very well, and delivers a very pleasing luminous radiance. In fact the first week I applied it someone asked if I had been on holiday! And that was even before I’d tried using it in conjunction with the booster, which makes it even more effective! It could be coincidence but I like to think that not only is it doing my skin some good, but also improving its appearance.
Contains Award Winning Ingredients
With purified molecules of Centella asiatica ( “tiger herb” ), ectoin and containing the award-winning cyclopeptide Ronacare, the serum is designed to augment the skin’s response to jet lag, sun image, aesthetic procedures, partying and general day to day stress. Paraben and allergen free it is designed to create a luminous complexion, to help improve skin structure and to reduce wrinkles by 15%. The serum also claims to boost the production of collagen and laminins, whilst at the same time protecting it from the break down of elastin and collagen.
Suitable For All Skin Types
From the user’s perspective it does seem to hydrate the skin and it definitely gives it a real glow. The Recovery Serum is designed to be used daily and is suitable for all skin types.
The Four Boosters Designed to Work With It
The four Boosters which you can pair with the Recovery Serum are as follows:
The Radiance Booster
– with 10% Vitamin C, it helps to improve the radiance and illuinosity of the skin as well as reduce the signs of ageing.
The Source Booster
– with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid, it is aimed at plumping and hydrating the skin.
The Perfection Booster
– containing 10% Lactic Acid, this is a peeling solution aimed at refining imperfections, reducing large pores and targeting fine lines.
The Evenness Booster
– with 2% Alpha-Arbutin it helps maintain an even skin tone.

Overall
I can’t say that it took years off my appearance, however, I do feel that it makes my skin look more radiant and gives it a certain luminosity. Certainly on days when I’ve had very little sleep the previous night, due to travel or work commitments, it really makes me look less tired and fresher. Incredibly useful when you need a boost!
Pricing
The Recovery Serum is not inexpensive at CHF 199, however a little goes a long way and it would make an excellent Christmas for those who like to take care of their skin.
